Minangkabau people comes from West Sumatra in Indonesia.
They are everywhere in Indonesia, because they are travelers.
Their language is Minangkabau, we call it also Bahasa Padang or « Baso awak » in local language.
They are muslim and they are the world’s biggest matrilinear society where women own everything : lands, houses, family name. properties, heritages and legacy are passing down from mother to daughter.
